Reset helps people quit, take a tolerance break from, or cut back on cannabis. We built it to be private by default. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

The short version

You can use Reset anonymously — no name or email required to start.
We collect the data you enter (usage profile, daily check-ins) and, if you use the community, your posts. We treat this as sensitive health-related information.
We do not sell your data, and we use no advertising or third-party tracking SDKs.
You can export or delete everything from within the app at any time.

What we collect

Account: an anonymous identifier so your data can sync across your devices. No email or name unless you add one.
Health-related data you enter: goal, usage profile (frequency, method, years, spend), reset start date, and daily check-ins (mood, sleep, cravings, dreams). Used only to power your timeline, progress, and insights.
Community content (only if you opt in): your anonymous handle, posts, reactions, pod membership, and reports/blocks you create.
Purchases: subscription status via our payments provider (RevenueCat). We don't receive your full payment-card details — those go to Apple/Google.
Device/diagnostic: minimal, for crash-free operation. We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or browsing history.

How your data is stored

On your device (so the app works offline) and synced to our backend (Supabase) so you don't lose progress. Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS). Access is restricted so you can only read and write your own data.

How we use it

To provide the app: your timeline, counter, check-ins, insights, reminders, and (if enabled) the community. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to anyone.

Sharing

Service providers that run the app on our behalf (backend hosting, subscriptions), only to provide their service.
Community: anything you post is visible to other users under your anonymous handle.
Legal: if required by law.

Your choices and rights

Export your data and Delete everything from in-app Settings.
Use the app without an account, notifications, or the community.
Depending on where you live (e.g., EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA) you may have additional rights; contact chrnknzhnkv@gmail.com.

Children

Reset is rated 17+ and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age required in your region.
